{"id":995,"date":"2026-07-03T08:05:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T08:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pomeri.uniri.hr\/?p=995"},"modified":"2026-07-03T08:05:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-03T08:05:43","slug":"strucno-usavrsavanje-mattee-mackic-jovanovic-u-podrucju-naprednih-mikroskopskih-i-difrakcijskih-metoda-u-spanjolskoj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pomeri.uniri.hr\/eng\/strucno-usavrsavanje-mattee-mackic-jovanovic-u-podrucju-naprednih-mikroskopskih-i-difrakcijskih-metoda-u-spanjolskoj\/","title":{"rendered":"Professional Training of Mattea Ma\u010dki\u0107 Jovanovi\u0107 in Advanced Microscopy and Diffraction Techniques in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mattea Ma\u010dki\u0107 Jovanovi\u0107<\/strong> stayed at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Arag\u00f3n and the Laboratorio de Microscop\u00edas Avanzadas from <strong>May 24 to June 19, 2026,<\/strong> as a visiting researcher for the purpose of professional training in <strong>X-ray diffraction (XRD)<\/strong>, <strong>atomic force microscopy (AFM)<\/strong>, sample preparation using a <strong>FIB\/SEM system<\/strong> (TEM lamella fabrication), and <strong>transmission electron microscopy (TEM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During her stay, she acquired new theoretical knowledge and practical experience related to the aforementioned experimental techniques. Her research activities included the characterization of <strong>SnO\u2082<\/strong> thin-film samples synthesized by <strong>atomic layer deposition (ALD)<\/strong> at the Faculty of Physics, University of Rijeka, using the above-mentioned analytical methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This research mobility provided an opportunity to expand her scientific competencies, gain experience with new experimental approaches, and strengthen international research collaboration.
