During the eight-day training, they acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, working on various samples prepared using a JEOL Cross Section Polisher and the FIB technique on the Crossbeam FIB-SEM Gemini II microscope, equipped with an EDAX EDS detection system and an EBSD imaging camera. As part of the practical work on the FIB\/SEM, samples synthesized using the ALD device in Rijeka, TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0thin films were prepared and analyzed using the TEM\/STEM EDS Thermo Fisher Scientific Talos F200i microscope.
