Training on an Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) device at the CIC nanoGUNE Institute in San Sebastian

Associate Professor Dr. Ivna Kavre Piltaver stayed from August 7 to 22, 2025, as a visiting researcher at the CIC nanoGUNE institute in San Sebastian (Spain) for training on the atomic layer deposition (ALD) device and for researching various applications of this technique. During the two-week ALD training, she acquired theoretical knowledge of the ALD technique as well as practical guidance on the deposition of thin films using solid-state precursors—precursors that will be used in the framework of the POMERI project. As part of the training, she also gained knowledge of electrochemical measurements and measurements of the photocatalytic activity of ZnO films for the purpose of building protection.
