Training on the Raman spectrometer

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivna Kavre Piltaver visited the Institute of Physics in Belgrade (Serbia) as a guest researcher from February 17 to 27, 2025, for advanced training on the Raman spectrometer and to explore various applications of this technique. During her ten-day training on Raman spectroscopy, she acquired theoretical knowledge about Raman spectra, performed practical work on the Jobin Yvon U1000 Raman spectrometer and micro-Raman, and learned how to analyze and process data. As part of the practical work on the Raman spectrometer, samples synthesized on the ALD device in Rijeka were analyzed, including ZnO and TiO2 thin films (both undoped and doped with copper). During her stay at the Institute of Physics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivna Kavre Piltaver held a seminar where she presented the laboratories of the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Physics, and the Centre for Micro- and Nanosciences and Technologies, as well as the POMERI project and the scientific work being conducted within the project.
