Mattea Mačkić Jovanović stayed from October 27 to November 24, 2025 at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón and in the Laboratorio de Microscopías Avanzadas, University of Zaragoza, as a visiting researcher to receive training in the areas of X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), work on the FIB/SEM system (lamella preparation), and work on the transmission electron microscope (TEM).
During her stay, Mattea acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The experimental work involved the analysis of SnO₂ samples synthesized by the atomic layer deposition (ALD) method at the Faculty of Physics in Rijeka using the aforementioned techniques.
Participation in this professional training enabled her to gain new knowledge and practical competencies that will significantly contribute to her scientific research work and professional development.
