Daria Jardas Babić successfully completed a scientific exchange and training from 26 January to 12 February 2026 at the Electron Microscopy Centre of the Institute of Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds (ICCOM-CNR) in Florence, Italy, part of the National Research Council of Italy.
During her stay, Daria conducted electrochemical characterisation and electron microscopy investigations in collaboration with ICCOM-CNR researchers. This collaboration enabled knowledge exchange and strengthened international scientific cooperation.
As part of the visit, she delivered a seminar entitled “Atomic Layer Deposition of Metal Oxide Thin Films for Photocatalytic Water Purification”, presenting the objectives, methodology and current results of the POMERI project.
Participation in this professional training provided valuable new knowledge and practical skills that will significantly contribute to her scientific research, professional development and the successful implementation of the POMERI project.
